The primary responsibility of this position will be to develop strategic partnerships for the overall acquisition of individual donors through the Outreach Program.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to develop strategic partnerships for the overall acquisition of individual donors through the Outreach Program. This position is responsible for managing key strategic partnerships with commercial organizations as well as a team of Outreach Coordinators based out of different cities who will work towards creating these partnerships.
|➢ Meet the annual Outreach targets as set and agreed upon by the organization.
➢ Provide direction and leadership to the Outreach and Partnerships team.
➢ Have a process to generate and maintain a database of activity, permissions, and data on venues, fundraising results and outreach contacts.
➢ Network externally to build strategic alliances with key partners.
➢ Work with relevant teams within the organization to ensure partnership deliverables and effective communication and branding.
➢ Provide training to the team members on the process and skills required for effective delivery of targets.
➢ Conduct and design “Closed Door Sessions”, workshops and other key employee engagement activities in order to service partnerships as required.
➢ Design themes which can be executed at outreach venues to engage the supporters based on the programmes of work at Amnesty.
➢ Motivate the team to manage and achieve outreach key performance indicators.
➢ Forge key partnerships across India.
➢ Ensure campaign moments and messages are communicated in the outreach presentations and activities where relevant.
➢ Develop annual income and expenditure budget for outreach and the team in consultation with the National Manager – Face to Face.
➢ Contribute to regular and annual fundraising planning processes.
➢ Provide timely feedback to the senior management team on the performance of the team.
|➢ Supervise recruitments and separations of Outreach Coordinators across field offices.
➢ Decide on the outreach annual plans in consultation with National Manager – Face to Face.
➢ Responsible for conceptualization engagement for outreach.
➢ Sign off on all external communication for the process
➢ Decide on outreach work with other departments like Programmes
The position is responsible for maintaining relationships with the following stakeholders in order to achieve the goals of the Outreach team.

|Donor Database Administrator||As required||To understand outreach results and to use our supporter network for outreach.
|Programs and Campaigns||As required||To design and execute Outreach events and engagements in line with the goals of the programs. Outreach venues may also be used by the organisation to reach to a large audience during important campaign moments.|
|Training and Development Team||As required||Input and feedback on closed-door sessions. Exchange and update information on the coaching/training activities.|
|Fundraising Director||Monthly||To seek larger strategic input for the team and update on ongoing performance.|
|Supporter Services Manager||Regularly||Catch up on communication materials, provide photographs and content from events as required. Seek data on the lifecycle of outreach donors as required.|
|Senior Managers of Large Corporate Organization||Regularly||Develop alliances with corporate partners in order to conduct regular and ongoing employee engagement fundraising activities.|
Retail, media and venue partners
Develop strategic alliances for fundraising at retail venues such as Decathlon/Big Bazaar, Malls, Tech Parks etc.
|Vendors||As required||For the production of communication materials or merchandise.|
Skills and Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience of Corporate Fundraising/ Sales /Marketing in the development or corporate sector.
- Ability to understand the nuances of communication with respect to corporate organizations and how to position the organization.
- Experience in handling a diverse and multicultural team.
- Ability to understand campaign issues and translate them into a fundraising opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a knowledge of local languages would be beneficial.
- Basic computer skills and experience in managing and analyzing data
|Planning and organizing:
➢ Break down annual Outreach targets into monthly and weekly plans.
➢ Organizing training calendars for outreach staff.
➢ Encourage & Train the outreach team to forge national outreach partnerships with large corporations.
➢ Working with the programs and campaigns team to leverage the strands as well as to engage the supporters.
➢ Monitor and evaluate outreach acquisition results for the team.
➢ Looking for best outreach industry practices and implementing the same.
➢ Conceptualize and establish new methods of outreach which could become sustainable over time.
Working with others:
➢ The role is a leadership one and requires dynamism in the way the incumbent manages relationships with external contacts like senior managers and decision makers in large organizations.
➢ It requires the ability to contribute towards training and development of the team.
